Sony are the latest manufacturer to fly the 3D TV banner and at CES they had a couple of impressive prototypes on display. Yes you still need glasses but could these be the future of home entertainment?

I wonder what the early adopter’s tax is gonna be like on that thing when it comes out?
Sometimes when you have been watching a 3D movie for a while you’re eye’s get used to the effect and t can loose its impact.
@asianoutcast87 If the screen is a passive display it can’t be that bad can it? I have never got sick from watching 3D movies at the cinema and this is basically the same technology most people who play videogames probably sit perfectly stationary in the centre of the screen, I have never seen one all I have is my cinema experience with the real d glasses.
haha thatd be sweet if they could show us it in 3d somehow
@lightning3593 Are you joking with me? I’ve seen it in person, I know how good it looks, I know what I saw, so telling me I saw something different isn’t going to work… seriously it looked really nice, in the Zelda Ocarina of Time demo, the sun set really looked like it was far off in the distance, and you can change the 3D using the slider bar, so if by any chance you’ve seen it, then you probably should have checked the 3D slider bar…

@asianoutcast87 are you joking? I was at E3 I played the 3DS, why do you think I like it so much? It’s freaking amazing! And no one can tell me it’s a crappy screen because it definitely does not look like what you just described…

Sorry to break your bubble, but you’ve probably never seen a 3D screen w/o glasses in person. I’ve seen it and it makes people very dizzy. You can only look at it at one angle. The images look split sometimes. Its like looking at one of those things that change what what you are looking at once you start standing in a different angle. Those things make you dizzy.
@ExtremeBogom lmFAO!!!
@MurderCorn lol wowow
@MurderCorn
