Joytron Singibigi, Old School in more ways than one

What I like about the Joytron Singibigi is that it is very much old school. Not only does it bring back the days when video game controllers were actual joysticks, and buttons were concave and very big, but it brings back the wooden look. Have you ever noticed that things made of wood are generally considered antique?

Designer clutches at straws for inspiration

The plastic drinking straw isn’t something that usually inspires much other than school projects where they are often the favoured material for model bridge-building. Glaswegian artist Scott Jarvie has managed something a little more impressive. He has gathered thousands of these straws to create both a light and a chair (that hopefully doesn’t collapse like my school project).

Navman MY30 GPS Review – Tiny GPS Unit Packs a Punch

Before we set out on a small weekend getaway to picturesque rural Gippsland , I thought it may be handy to get my wife a new GPS unit since she didn’t have any GPS software on her HTC HD Touch . I chose the Navman MY30 due to its size, cost and because it was relatively new – all-in-all I think I made a good decision. This intelligent little travel companion proved that good things come in small packages

Epson AP-60 Sound Enhancement System
